Pier 39’s iconic tulips festival will take place this year between 9 and 18 February. More than 39.000 tulips will be in bloom starting February until late March, so come and enjoy the flower’s beauty. Daily at 10 a.m., there are free guided tours, departing from the Crab Statue in the Entrance Plaza.

Chinese New Year Flower Fair

The Flower Fair takes place every year on the weekend before Chinese New Year. On Saturday, February 2, around 10 a.m. a parade will open the event, with performances of traditional Chinese magicians, acrobats, folk dancers, and opera.
