Photo Diaries: Looking for the Fall in Nevada

I don’t think there’s a season that speaks more to my heart than fall does. When the air is crisp and the trees are dressed in golden shades, it’s time to spend more time outside and lose myself in the beauty of nature.

4 hours by car from San Francisco, we arrived in Carson City for a weekend getaway filled with walks around Lake Tahoe, tasty treats, and fall vibes.

Here are a few things worth doing when you’re visiting South Lake Tahoe:

  • Visit Emerald Bay, State Park
  • Go to El Dorado Beach
  • Tour the Vikingsholm Castle
  • Visit the Lake Tahoe Historical Society Museum
  • Eat a Sundae at Sno Flake Drive In
